Artwork Description

Is that a coconut? Yuck! Is a hilarious bedtime story picture book written by best-selling children’s author, Tony Bradman, and illustrated by Katharine McEwen. When a small, round, hairy thing falls from a tree, everyone presumes it’s a coconut – and nobody seems to want to eat it, luckily for Mama Monkey who is chasing after the mysterious small, round, hairy thing. This gouache, watercolour and pencil crayon illustration is a colourful, original artwork from the book, published by Egmont Books in 2012, and shows the alligator realising that the little hairy creature is, in fact, a baby monkey. The dimensions below include the mount. The actual illustration is 290mm x 260mm.
