John Lawrence is one of the seminal wood engraving artists of the 20th century and this is an original artwork, hand printed from a wood engraving in black ink and signed by the artist. Entitled Good Babies, Bad Babies, this piece shows all sorts of different children – from the well-behaved to the mischievous, from the baby Jesus to a baby devil, showing all the many temperaments of little babies.
