It was Jake! is a picture book from acclaimed children’s illustrator, Anita Jeram (Guess how much I love you) which tells the story of a cheeky boy called Danny who always blames his faithful dog Jake for the naughty things he’s done. This original artwork from the 1991 book shows Danny being caught out by his Mum, who tells him not to blame poor Jake for making a mess.
