It comes again from Caroline – one of our most prolific readers, Caroline is a regular visitor to the shop, and can always be relied upon for some GREAT recommendations! Like the rest of the Rogan’s Books Team, Caroline is a big fan of Children’s Laureate, Chris Riddell. Chris first visited Bedford in July last year, to take part in BookTastic, the Children’s Book Festival.

He then returned to open Rogan’s Book on 24th October last year, earning himself a place both in our hearts, on our bookshelves, and on our ‘Must Buy’ lists…

Chris clearly left an impression, as did his Goth Girl series – here, Caroline tells us about just why she loves Ada Goth…
